1968 RICKENBACKER 4003 BASS IN FIREGLO FINISH WITH ORIGINAL HARD CASE

Highlights:

Absurdly rare, these 60s rickenbacker 4001 basses are some of the most sought after instruments on the planet , and for a good reason.

Completely unmolested and inside the original case, this bass is something else.

Crushed pearl inlays, checkerboard binding , toaster pickup, horseshoe pickup, mono jack input , bigger headstock , reversed kluson tuners.

All features only available through the 60s and discontinued the following decade when production ramped up.

Apparently only 83 fireglo 68 4001 were produced and this is a perfect example of the craftmanship and attention to details of those days.

Phenomenal tone, great weight and really nice neck profile.

The original case has seen better days and has been over sprayed but it’s still there and that’s all it matters.

Partial trade alway welcome

Highlights:

In great condition, still inside the original box, the Proton is considered the best bass envelope filter you can get these days. Handmade By Spencer Doren, Founder of 3Leaf Audio, the Proton is an optically controlled analog envelope filter. The circuit has been completely redesigned to offer better tone and a more musical response. It has a new detector circuit based on the one in the Chromatron, and the familiar control layout has a greatly expanded range that can get the classic 1970s filter sounds and well beyond. The new range switch allows for much deeper filter sweeps, and the reworked tone knob covers every soundscape from cocked wah to laser beams.

Highlights:

1983 Dan Smith Era Strat in rare candy apple red finish and in mint condition. All Original beside a replaced nut. The black finish adds a touch of elegance to the instrument. Dan Smith’s contributions at Fender during this period revitalized the company’s reputation for producing high-quality guitars, and his influence is still felt in the legacy of instruments like the 1983 Dan Smith Era Stratocaster.
