I am usually not a huge fan of acoustic basses , but this one is on a different level. Light, not too big and with a super comfortable and stable neck, this B1 is one of the nicest acoustic basses I have owned. Equipped with a Fishman rare earth pickup (rap $600) so it can be plugged in to an amp or desk. comes inside the original Martin hard case These are solid wood throughout — a nice spruce top and mahogany back and sides all done in a satin finish. 1975 Fender Precision Bass in Original Natural finish With Fender Hard Case

Highlights:

Very nice and clean vintage Fender Precision Bass, especially considering this beauty is 49 years old. Made in 1975 in USA by Fender in factory natural finish with amazing tone and heaps of sustain. The body has the typical hairline checking of a a nearly 50 years old aged finish and the original white pickguard looks so pretty on it. Great condition on frets, fretboard, trussrod moving smooth left and right and the original pots and pickups are in perfect working condition. Capacitor replaced before I got it but pots and pickups untouched and all dated 1975. All the original hardware is in great nick as well. Really great bass, perfect for a collector or a player Comes with the original Fender Black Tolex case, thumb rest ,pickup and bridge covers as well.

Great 50 years old Fender Precision Bass in excellent condition with a superb tone and feel. All original beside replaced knobs, this 1975 American Fender Pbass is a phenomenal player. The beautiful ash body gives the bass an amazing sustain and articulation, where the rosewood fretboard smoothes the tone to perfection. The original pickguard has a little crack next to jack input but it’s stable and original but I will provide a spare pickguard in case you wanna swap it . Comes with hard case

2018 US FENDER PRECISION PARALLEL UNIVERSE BASS LIMITED EDITION WITH ORIGINAL CASE

Highlights:

Immaculate condition for this Fender bass , from the 2018 parallel universe limited edition. Only 400 of these basses were made. Just like several other offerings in the Parallel Universe Collection, such as the Jaguar Strat, the Jazz Tele and Strat-Tele Hybrid, the Telecaster PJ Bass mixes and matches several elements from Fender’s history. The authentic style extends from the slab body, distinctive single-ply black pickguard to the dual-concentric volume knobs and vintage spaghetti logo on the Telecaster-style headstock — original-era touches brought into the present. What’s more, the neck recalls the time of James Jamerson, as it’s based on a ’63 P Bass profile ideal for funky, thumb-over playing, and the 9.5″-radius fingerboard makes for fast, low action. But in addition to the Custom Shop ’60s P Bass split-coil middle pickup, the Telecaster PJ Bass also boasts a Custom Shop ’60s Jazz Bass single-coil bridge pickup to give you even more tonal options. “A lot of people like the versatility that you can get out of a P Bass that has both styles of pickups,” noted Allen Abbassi, Senior Product Manager for Fendr Electric Guitars and Basses. To control each pickup, there is a stacked volume knob, where the top knob adjusts the volume of the Precision Bass pickup and the bottom adjusts the Jazz Bass pickup. Other premium accoutrements include a nitrocellulose lacquer finish that lets the body breathe for true tonal character and a vintage HiMass bridge with enough heft for rock-solid sustain and intonation. In all, the ’51 Telecaster PJ Bass has the look of the bass that started it all, but several contemporary trappings. With a beautifully aged original 3 colour sunburst finish, this 50 years old Fender Precision Bass is a great player, thanks to the light weight and the huge sustain.

Sitting at 4.3 Kg , all original (just a set of newer straplock installed), this instrument has one of the nicest aged finish with all the checking running through giving it a very sought after “rainfall” effect.

Tone is huge, and heaps of sustain.

Neck profile is nice and round, with a very low action and heaps of punch thanks to the maple fretboard.

Quality materials rich dark Ebony fretless fretboard with layered neck super strong and super stable , these basses set the bar very high for all to follow. Legendary Yamaha preamp and pickups feature a Piezo under bridge pickup as well, this bass doesn’t produce any bad sounds and any combination you dial in sounds great. Bass over all very clean there is a few chips in the finish but no damage to the instrument whatsoever as you can see by the pictures. General wear in the finish like surface hazing from normal usage and consider average for a 33 years old instrument. Bridge and tuners in great shape, knobs have been replaced at some point. Action nice and low, fretboard surface is smooth and looks like some additional position markers are in place. Dual Truss rod model, fully operational. Includes Hardshell Case.

PRICE DROPPED – 1991 Fender Jazz Plus Bass in white Finish with OHSC

Impeccable condition for this 34 years old American made Fender Jazz Bass.

The neck is straight with a great low action, good weight and a much wider tone due to the stacked tone pot.

This version of the jazz bass only lasted 3 years and is known as “longhorn” or “boner” due to the longer upper horn to balance the weight as the short one has been cut deeper to access all the frets on the neck.

2013 FENDER PRECISION BASS – OPB51 VINTAGE SERIES – MADE IN JAPAN

Superb condition for this Fender Made in Japan vintage reissue ’51 Precision Bass in a classic 50’s butterscotch blonde over ash. These were apart of Fender Japan’s “vintage Collection” series. The pick guard retains the original protective factory plastic. Everything about this bass is just perfect, from the tone, to the feel and the condition is a 10/10. Includes HARD CASE Body: Ash Neck: Maple Neck profile; C Shape, 7.25 Radius, 1st Fret .835 12th fret .972 Nut width: 1 11/16

The only not original part is the electronic, with pots and pickup replaced with a nice genuine Fender 62 custom shop split coil.

The original case has been used but it’s in good condition too.

1977 GIBSON THUNDERBIRD BICENTENNIAL BASS IN SUNBURST FINISH WITH ORIGINAL CASE

Highlights:
Great condition for this rare Gibson US made 1977 Thunderbird Bass from the limited Bicentennial edition. These basses were only produced form 1976 to 1979 and less than 2000 were made, according to Gibson. This one is all original and its surprisingly light with a phenomenal sustain and such an incredible tone. The neck is slim and comfortable and action is nice and low. Frets are in good condition and everything works as it should. The original alnico pickup are just magic and the high output is quite amazing considering they are nearly 50 old. Strap pin has been moved and original screw hole professionally filled but that’s all. The original Black tolex hard case is in great nick too with all the original latches working as they should . One for collectors and players.
