Highlights:

Immaculate condition for this 34 years old Fretless Fender Custom Shop made Kubicki Factor Bass. These basses were designed by the mad responsible for some of Fenders greatest innovations to be a true workhorse for a new breed of bass player. Not many of them around and very few fretless. Beside a very old refinish (looks like a factory one but it’s hard to verify) the bass is in original condition and sounds unreal. Neck is straight with a low action and zero dead spots and the tone will instantly bring you back to the eighties. Great bass and one to have for any bass collector out there.

A very rare bass , completely hand made in New Zealand by the genius of Tomm Stanley . They are made using a very unique design and locally sourced timber. Comes with the original branded gig bag Here is a full description from the Stonefield website Topwood: Cypress Fingerboard: Solomon Island Ebony Fingerboard Markers: Burghundy within White Gem Dots Fingerboard Radius: Zero Hardware: Titanium/blue Binding: – fine line: Australian Blackwood Sap – thick edge: Jarrah Nut: Jarrah Back of Neck Finish: Natural An M Series with a twist; This one was built to a unique set of specifications and is one of only two basses we’ve ever built with a zero-radius fingerboard and a centre veneer on the front covering the laminates of the through-body core. It has also been sprayed in a matte satin clear and has a Funk Plate and Ramp, both veneered in tiger myrtle to match the jarrah binding and bridge. String Spacing: Classic (approx 19mm between strings at the bridge) Due to the low serial number, a unique build and the addition of customer requested mods, this bass has true potential for collectibility. A few notes: This is only the second bass we’ve made with a zero radius fingerboard. Note the cypress veneer over the laminates in the centre of the body. This is only the second instrument on which we’ve veneered over the laminates. In addition to the Funk Plate a ramp has been added between the rear pickup and bridge. 1976 Fender Precision Bass in Original Natural finish With Original Hard Case

Highlights:

Really nice wood grain for this 1976 Fender Precision Bass.

This 49 years old stunner is very light and makes the perfect player without breaking the bank.

Has been played but it’s still all original and retain the natural factory finish.

Frets were quite worn so it had a professional regret and has no buzz and a nice low action now.

Like most of the natural finished fender from this era , a fair bit of the clear coat peeled but the undercoat and sealant are still intact and in good condition and had some clear poly touch up.

The pickguard retains the original sticker with serial matching the headstock one.

Body and neck stamped armenta which is consider one of the best fender workers of his time.

Pots and pickups dated 1976 with untouched solder joints.

Overall a great instrument with a solid B profile neck and a marvellous tone and a very light and comfortable weight.

Comes with original vintage Fender hard case

1975 Fender Precision Bass in Original Natural finish With Fender Hard Case

Highlights:

Very nice and clean vintage Fender Precision Bass, especially considering this beauty is 49 years old. Made in 1975 in USA by Fender in factory natural finish with amazing tone and heaps of sustain. The body has the typical hairline checking of a a nearly 50 years old aged finish and the original white pickguard looks so pretty on it. Great condition on frets, fretboard, trussrod moving smooth left and right and the original pots and pickups are in perfect working condition. Capacitor replaced before I got it but pots and pickups untouched and all dated 1975. All the original hardware is in great nick as well. Really great bass, perfect for a collector or a player Comes with the original Fender Black Tolex case, thumb rest ,pickup and bridge covers as well.

1977 GIBSON THUNDERBIRD BICENTENNIAL BASS IN SUNBURST FINISH WITH ORIGINAL CASE

Highlights:
Great condition for this rare Gibson US made 1977 Thunderbird Bass from the limited Bicentennial edition. These basses were only produced form 1976 to 1979 and less than 2000 were made, according to Gibson. This one is all original and its surprisingly light with a phenomenal sustain and such an incredible tone. The neck is slim and comfortable and action is nice and low. Frets are in good condition and everything works as it should. The original alnico pickup are just magic and the high output is quite amazing considering they are nearly 50 old. Strap pin has been moved and original screw hole professionally filled but that’s all. The original Black tolex hard case is in great nick too with all the original latches working as they should . One for collectors and players.
