price dropped – 1984 WARWICK STREAMER STAGE I BASS – SERIAL 103 -3.5 KG
$6,000.00 $6,950.00
A real gem and a must have for any Warwick enthusiast, this 42 years old Streamer is one of the early “paddle headstock” ones with the original design, before the german company change the look of it after having issues with Stuart Spector. Only the first 300 streamer made came out with the paddle headstock and after the first 150, Warwick added ”licensed by Spector” on the trussrod cover to avoid issues with the American Brand. The serial number on this one is 103, and has a phenomenal neck and weight (3.5kg), making it super comfortable to play and the original EMG pickups have a growl that would make the crowd rattle their teeth.

1954 Fender Precision Bass – ONE OF THE FIRST 1200 FENDER BASSES EVER MADE
One of the nicest example from the first generation of the Fender Precision Bass. With a graciously aged butterscotch finish, it’s just perfection and plays beautifully as you would expect from one of these 51-54 Pbasses. Detlef Schmidt is the author of what’s considered the most accurate book about the first generation of the Precision Bass, he collected as many serial numbers as he could and this one is featured on his list. The neck has a great patina with the classic finish wear at the back, which is common to these early 40s and 50s Fender instruments. Flat head screw on tuners, neckplate and pick guard as supposed for these. Original covers still there and came with a tweed case that looks like may have been externally modified but looks all original inside, although is hard to confirm. Bass is completely original, with pots perfectly working as well as the black bobbin pickup and the original paper capacitor. It came in with a reissue pickup but the original 1954 black bobbin (which sounds amazing) was inside the tweed case and is now back with the bass and rest of the wiring is untouched. The finish has a gorgeous checking and looks like they patched a couple of extra screws holes (possibly a thumb rest) but they are barely noticeable. Bass is very light and resonant with an incredible sustain due to the string through the body. The pencil dates are unfortunately not legible anymore but the serial of this bass is present on the bridge and can be found on Detlef Schmidt’s book. These early models are becoming incredibly hard to come by and this one is a great example.
1968 RICKENBACKER 4001 BASS IN FIREGLO FINISH WITH ORIGINAL HARD CASE
Absurdly rare, these 60s rickenbacker 4001 basses are some of the most sought after instruments on the planet , and for a good reason.
Completely unmolested and inside the original case, this bass is something else.
Crushed pearl inlays, checkerboard binding , toaster pickup, horseshoe pickup, mono jack input , bigger headstock , reversed kluson tuners.
All features only available through the 60s and discontinued the following decade when production ramped up.
Apparently only 83 fireglo 68 4001 were produced and this is a perfect example of the craftmanship and attention to details of those days.
Phenomenal tone, great weight and really nice neck profile.
The original case has seen better days and has been over sprayed but it’s still there and that’s all it matters.
Partial trade alway welcome

PRICE DROPPED – 1979 RICKENBACKER 4001 BASS IN MAPLE FINISH
One of the nicest rickenbacker I have ever played , all original , light weight and an absolute stunner.
The checking on the finish is something no custom shop could ever replicate.

1975 Fender Precision Bass in Original Natural finish With Fender Hard Case
Very nice and clean vintage Fender Precision Bass, especially considering this beauty is 49 years old. Made in 1975 in USA by Fender in factory natural finish with amazing tone and heaps of sustain. The body has the typical hairline checking of a a nearly 50 years old aged finish and the original white pickguard looks so pretty on it. Great condition on frets, fretboard, trussrod moving smooth left and right and the original pots and pickups are in perfect working condition. Capacitor replaced before I got it but pots and pickups untouched and all dated 1975. All the original hardware is in great nick as well. 1979 MUSICMAN STINGRAY BASS – FRETLESS – WITH ORIGINAL CASE – LIKE PINO PALLADINO
Possibly the rarest and most iconic version of the musicman Stingray, completely original and with case, original strap and catalogue, this bass is not just just a rarity, but one of the most iconic bass guitars of all times. Just like the one Pino Palladino used in the 80s with Paul Young, this 1979 original fretless musicman Stingray comes from my personal collection and will be listed only for a limited time so if you are interested, don’t hesitate to contact me. I have owned this beauty for a few years now and I have looked after it, servicing it regularly and oiling the fretboard to make sure it stays nice and dark. The body is unreal with one of the nicest timber figuring I have seen on one of these pre Ernie ball basses. The Musicman black strap is extremely rare as well and so is the catalogue inside the original black tolex case. There is also a musicman brass buckle from 1978 inside the case. Ernie Ball has made a reissue of these which I have tried and let me tell you, it’s not quite the same. Regretful sale but I have just purchased an expensive bass and something has to go, although if I sell something else in the meantime I will take the listing down and put this gem back in my collection.
