Here’s a super cool and hard-to-find Aria Pro II ZZB bass. The tones on this bass are very wide and quite impressive. Great punch and articulation. These passive pickups are some of the best I’ve heard. Not kidding. It is a medium scale. 820mm or 32.3”. Nut width is 42mm or 1.654”. Neck is slim and fast. Everything works, pick ups are in great shape, no issues with the tuners. No buzzing or static with the electronics. There are several scratches and chips on this bass, what you expect from a 45 year-old instrument. Nothing that affect playability. All cosmetic. You can see all the imperfections in the photos I provided. The bass comes with the rare original aria padded gig bag .

1977 Fender Precision Bass in Original Natural finish

Highlights:

Very nice condition Fender Precision Bass, made in 1977 in the US. This bass has a really nice neck profile , not too heavy sitting at 4.4kg and has a really nice growl, classic of this Fender era . All original , just had some copper shielding applied inside the electronic cavity to get a rid of any sort of hum but it’s just copper tape , so easy to remove (I wouldn’t as it’s an improvement and doesn’t devalue it). Frets in good condition and trussrod moves smooth left and right with zero issues. Action in low with no buzz and the original pots and pickups works like new. Great player and a beautiful looking instrument.

1973 RICKENBACKER 4001 BASS IN JETGLO FINISH WITH ORIGINAL HARD CASE

Highlights:

Superb example of early 70s rickenbacker , all original and with rare toaster pickup, checkerboard binding and long triangle inlays,

Complete with original black tolex hard case, this instrument is the quintessential Ricky, and a rare one too.

Light weight , low action, thunderous tone and in incredible condition, especially considering this beauty is 53 years old.

Some filled holes behind the headstock indicating it had different tuners at some point but the original ones are back on it and they are perfectly functional.

A phenomenal player and great collector piece.

Previously owned by none less than the amazing Harry Brus (Australian Crawl, Renee Gayer , Kevin Borich, Jimmy Barnes, Ross Wilson and many others) , this instrument has so many stories to tell and has been working hard but it’s still one of the nicest fender basses I have ever played.
Light as a feather due to the alder body and with the very rare and coveted Brazilian rosewood slab fretboard.
The original pickup is pure magic and the neck is superb, comfortable and slim .
The nut and frets have been redone as they were too worn .
One of the best basses I have had the pleasure to own and play and certainly a great piece of Australian rock history

One of the nicest rickenbacker I have ever played , all original , light weight and an absolute stunner.

The checking on the finish is something no custom shop could ever replicate.

The neck is slim and action is slow with a superb playability. Classic Ricky thunderous tone with that clarity and growl typical of these instruments.

The original electronic works perfectly and the original hard case is in very nice condition with all the latches still fully functional.

Very rare old school Warwick from 1986. One of Warwick’s enduring models is the Thumb Bass, introduced in 1985 as the JD Thumb Bass – the “JD” designation in reference to expatriate American bassist John Davis, who impressed Wilfer with his popping, funk-based style utilizing the stubbiest digit on his right hand. Bubinga body. 34″ neck trough neck with 26 frets. 7-piece neck of Wenge with Bubinga laminations. Fingerboard of Wenge with pearl dots inlays. Jumbo Warwick frets. The nut is *Just a Nut* brass version, each string adjustable in height. Original EMG pickups with 2-band active preamp. Shaller tuners and straplocks. Plays easy and has this beloved primal Wawrick sound. Made in West Germany / Pretzfeld / Franconia 4.1kg

1976 Fender Precision Bass in Original Natural finish With Original Hard Case

Highlights:

Really nice wood grain for this 1976 Fender Precision Bass.

This 49 years old stunner is very light and makes the perfect player without breaking the bank.

Has been played but it’s still all original and retain the natural factory finish.

Frets were quite worn so it had a professional regret and has no buzz and a nice low action now.

Like most of the natural finished fender from this era , a fair bit of the clear coat peeled but the undercoat and sealant are still intact and in good condition and had some clear poly touch up.

The pickguard retains the original sticker with serial matching the headstock one.

Body and neck stamped armenta which is consider one of the best fender workers of his time.

Pots and pickups dated 1976 with untouched solder joints.

Overall a great instrument with a solid B profile neck and a marvellous tone and a very light and comfortable weight.

Comes with original vintage Fender hard case

Another bass from my personal time machine. This Musicman Sterling Bass is an absolute stunner . Not to be confused with the Asian Musicman Sterling sub brand , this is the original USA Sterling model and it’s based on the stingray, but with a thinner neck and more tonal options. Perfect, not one mark or scuff equipped with the sought after original Flea high mass bridge with mutes. Gorgeous Birdseye maple neck and the sunburst finish is just spot on. Comes with the rare short tolex case which was only available for the first few months of production of this American Musicman Ernie Ball model. A great bass, as a player or collector piece. Renowned for its slightly smaller body and neck profile, the Sterling 4 string bass boasts a big sound. Nine volt active 3 band EQ preamp, 3 position pickup selector switch, and a ceramic humbucker with hum canceling phantom coil come standard, equipping the Sterling to cut through any mix. 1963 Fender Jazz Bass in Sunburst finish – Pre CBS – With Original Case

From the 4th year of production, this 61 years old Fender Jazz Bass is just perfection. Great weight, amazing tone, super comfortable neck profile, coveted Brazilian rosewood fretboard and a stunning 3 tone sunburst finish, all topped by the original rare cream tolex hard case, which was only made for less than a year. The alder body is resonant and light, finished in a beautiful 3 colour sunburst where the red hasn’t faded and still nice and vibrant. The pickguard doesn’t have cracks or the common snapped horns and doesn’t show signs of shrinking. The original 1963 pots work without scratches and the black bobbin pickups sounds delightful. Straight neck with a fully functional trussrod and a nice and smooth profile , so comfortable to play. Pickups covers in great condition as the rest of the original hardware. 1983 USA FENDER JAZZ BASS FROM THE “AVRI” SERIES WITH ORIGINAL CASE

From the second year of the Avri series, this USA made fender jazz bass is the ultimate player and such a looker.

Upgraded at some point with a set of custom shop pickup and concentric knobs , had a refinish in Olympic white done a long time ago and has already started to age into this gorgeous ivory colour.

Pickguard and saddles upgraded too.

medium low action , slim neck profile and a great weight.

A bass like this , if completely original, sells for around 5k USD.

1968 RICKENBACKER 4001 BASS IN FIREGLO FINISH WITH ORIGINAL HARD CASE

Highlights:

Absurdly rare, these 60s rickenbacker 4001 basses are some of the most sought after instruments on the planet , and for a good reason.

Completely unmolested and inside the original case, this bass is something else.

Crushed pearl inlays, checkerboard binding , toaster pickup, horseshoe pickup, mono jack input , bigger headstock , reversed kluson tuners.

All features only available through the 60s and discontinued the following decade when production ramped up.

Apparently only 83 fireglo 68 4001 were produced and this is a perfect example of the craftmanship and attention to details of those days.

Phenomenal tone, great weight and really nice neck profile.

The original case has seen better days and has been over sprayed but it’s still there and that’s all it matters.
