Handmade in Scotland by Ac Guitars, absolutely delightful, extremely light and comfortable. 34 inch scale, body made with black limba wood. This bass is in mint condition with the original Gigbag it came with. Some specs Body shape: J Type, a small bodied modern Jazz style bass Number of strings: 5 string Scale: 34″ with 24 frets Neck: 3 piece Maple with carbon rods and dual action truss rod Headstock: 3 plus 2 Bridge: Hipshot Type B Black, 18mm String tree: Hipshot Black Pickups: SB70 single coils Electronics: Passive Volume/Tone/Blend with front mounted jack socket Tuners: Hipshot Export, Black Strap Buttons: Dunlop Black Finish: MLF (minimum Lacquer Finish), Natural with an Oil/Resin Neck From the builder website: Each bass will be equipped with ACG B Series SB/SB70 single-coil pickups with CTS volume and tone controls, a custom East blend, and a front-mounting jack. Dunlop or D’Addario strings will complete the setup. The wood selection will again be at my discretion. Additionally, there will be three different scale lengths available: 34″, 32″, and 30″. These instruments are built only as stock models, meaning they cannot be ordered in advance and will be available for purchase once completed. 1973 RICKENBACKER 4001 BASS IN JETGLO FINISH WITH ORIGINAL HARD CASE

Superb example of early 70s rickenbacker , all original and with rare toaster pickup, checkerboard binding and long triangle inlays,

Complete with original black tolex hard case, this instrument is the quintessential Ricky, and a rare one too.

Light weight , low action, thunderous tone and in incredible condition, especially considering this beauty is 53 years old.

Some filled holes behind the headstock indicating it had different tuners at some point but the original ones are back on it and they are perfectly functional.

This bass is extremely light and super comfortable .

It has a regular Precision pickup and a powerful Humbucker similar to a Musicman one in the bridge position as well. it is active with a three band eq. treble, bass and mid boost.

The bridge is cool and gives you the option of having your strings top mounted or through the body to add more resonance.

Bass is in remarkable condition with all the original case candy used the fender hard case and even the original plastic still onto the control plate.

1976 Fender Precision Bass in Original Natural finish With Original Hard Case

Highlights:

Really nice wood grain for this 1976 Fender Precision Bass.

This 49 years old stunner is very light and makes the perfect player without breaking the bank.

Has been played but it’s still all original and retain the natural factory finish.

Frets were quite worn so it had a professional regret and has no buzz and a nice low action now.

Like most of the natural finished fender from this era , a fair bit of the clear coat peeled but the undercoat and sealant are still intact and in good condition and had some clear poly touch up.

The pickguard retains the original sticker with serial matching the headstock one.

Body and neck stamped armenta which is consider one of the best fender workers of his time.

Pots and pickups dated 1976 with untouched solder joints.

Overall a great instrument with a solid B profile neck and a marvellous tone and a very light and comfortable weight.

Comes with original vintage Fender hard case

1975 Fender Precision Bass in Original Natural finish With Fender Hard Case

Highlights:

Very nice and clean vintage Fender Precision Bass, especially considering this beauty is 49 years old. Made in 1975 in USA by Fender in factory natural finish with amazing tone and heaps of sustain. The body has the typical hairline checking of a a nearly 50 years old aged finish and the original white pickguard looks so pretty on it. Great condition on frets, fretboard, trussrod moving smooth left and right and the original pots and pickups are in perfect working condition. Capacitor replaced before I got it but pots and pickups untouched and all dated 1975. All the original hardware is in great nick as well. Really great bass, perfect for a collector or a player Comes with the original Fender Black Tolex case, thumb rest ,pickup and bridge covers as well.

1977 Fender Precision Bass in Original Natural finish

Highlights:

Very nice condition Fender Precision Bass, made in 1977 in the US. This bass has a really nice neck profile , not too heavy sitting at 4.4kg and has a really nice growl, classic of this Fender era . All original , just had some copper shielding applied inside the electronic cavity to get a rid of any sort of hum but it’s just copper tape , so easy to remove (I wouldn’t as it’s an improvement and doesn’t devalue it). Frets in good condition and trussrod moves smooth left and right with zero issues. Action in low with no buzz and the original pots and pickups works like new. Great player and a beautiful looking instrument.

Light as a feather due to the alder body and with the very rare and coveted Brazilian rosewood slab fretboard.

The original pickup is just pure magic and the neck is super comfortable and slim .

All parts on the bass are genuine beside the nut and frets which have been redone as they were to worn .

One of the best looking basses I have had the pleasure to own and play and a piece of Australian rock history

Comes with the rare short tolex case which was only available for the first few months of production of this American Musicman Ernie Ball model. A great bass, as a player or collector piece. 1968 RICKENBACKER 4001 BASS IN FIREGLO FINISH WITH ORIGINAL HARD CASE

Highlights:

Absurdly rare, these 60s rickenbacker 4001 basses are some of the most sought after instruments on the planet , and for a good reason.

Completely unmolested and inside the original case, this bass is something else.

Crushed pearl inlays, checkerboard binding , toaster pickup, horseshoe pickup, mono jack input , bigger headstock , reversed kluson tuners.

All features only available through the 60s and discontinued the following decade when production ramped up.

Apparently only 83 fireglo 68 4001 were produced and this is a perfect example of the craftmanship and attention to details of those days.

Phenomenal tone, great weight and really nice neck profile.

The original case has seen better days and has been over sprayed but it’s still there and that’s all it matters.
