Highlights:

Up for sale is this 1981 Fender precision bass special with matching headstock in stunning Olympic white finish . This 43 years old stunner is in amazing condition with truss rod perfectly working and frets in good nick. All electronic, active and passive switch and knobs are fully functional with no issues . Original tweed case included, normally these basses weight a ton but this one has a reasonable weight which makes it more comfortable to play for long gigs. The Precision Special features white pickup covers, white pickguard, a brass bridge and gold hardware (tuners, thumbrest, knobs). It was the first active bass of Fender with a specially developed active circuit (preamp, bass and treble). But it could also be used in passive mode, with a passive tone control. The preamp is probably designed by Bill Hodges and Paul Gagon, who now is Vice President Technology BBE Sound inc
