This 43 years old stunner is in amazing condition with truss rod perfectly working and frets in good nick. All electronic, active and passive switch and knobs are fully functional with no issues . 1952 Fender Precision Bass – One of the first 400 ever made – Tadeo Gomez Neck
The coveted first version of the most popular bass of all time , the Precision Bass.
This 1952 Pbass is the perfect example of amazing craftsmanship of the 50s Fender era.
A stunning and very rare Flame maple neck shaped and signed in pencil (along with the date ) by the one and only legend , Tadeo Gomez.
The body is signed by Eddie with the date on it as well.
The volume pot has been replaced and the pickup has been custom built for this bass by orpheus pickups and sounds unreal.
The bass has a very old overspray although it looks good under the purple UV light but the lack of checking and stripped finish at the back of the neck makes me think about a refin.
Very light and resonant , it’s one of the first 400 pbass ever made and a phenomenal instrument.
Comes with a 50s leather gigbag which smells like a million gigs in the smoke of a Chicago basement.
A showcase video of this bass is available on out YouTube channel.
1979 Fender Precision Bass in Original Black Finish
Beautiful Fender PBass from 1979, this instrument is a great player and very comfortable to play. The original black finish is still in good condition without any flaking or sticky clear coat, which was very common in the late 70s. The electronic has been replaced with vintage dimarzio pickups and newer CTS pots , a common thing back then . Bridge and knobs are newish to but everything else is original, with the thumbrest, pickup and bridge cover still on the bass. A mute switch got added at some point but if I was gonna keep this beauty I would probably change it with a series parallel mod to achieve more tonalities. Frets in very good nick and and the rosewood fretboard is one of the best I have seen, with a really nice grain. Neck is quite small compared to other pbasses from the same era , making it an easy one to play for long gigs.
1978 Fender Mustang Bass in Sunburst Finish
All original and with a really nice and deep tone, this mustang bass is a looker for sure.
Lovely grain and sustain for the ash body and a very comfortable neck with a lot of life left in the frets. Everything is great working order, action in nice and low , although not much room left in the trussrod for further adjustments.
If you are after one of these 70s gems and don’t wanna break the bank, here is your opportunity.

1962 Fender Precision Bass in Amazing Condition With OHSC
Out of a time capsule, this 61 years old Precision Bass represents the pinnacle of Fender Craftsmanship and it’s absolutely sublime.
All original beside a replaced nut, comes inside the original brown tolex case with a strap and a lead from the same year.
I don’t come across too many fully original Pre cbs Fender these days as most of em have been modded , refinished or repaired at some point but this one is exactly the same as it was when it came out of the Fender factory in 1962.
Same year as the legendary James Jamerson , it has a phenomenal neck, with thin and comfortable C shape and a really nice low action.
The wiring is all original and the pickups gave a very strong reading on the multimeter with that unreal tone these black bobbins are known for.
The original sunburst nitro finish is really nice with a couple of little microscopic clear touch up (typical of the era) where the bass has been dinted but 99.99% of the finish is clean and untouched.
The pickguard is beautiful and hasn’t shrunk much at all.
Overall this is the ultimate pbass for any collector or player out there.

1961 FENDER PRECISION BASS IN BLACK FINISH – EX HARRY BRUS (AUSTRALIAN CRAWL, JIMMY BARNES, ROSS WILSON AND MAY OTHERS)
A real piece of Australian rock history up for sale.
This 62 years old bass is absolutely incredible and has been owned and played on major stages by none less than the legendary Harry Brus, Australian bass player which has been performing with some of the 70s biggest artists like Jimmy barnes, Ross Wilson, Kevin Borich, Billy Thorpe, Marcia Hines, Renee Geyer , Leo Sayer, Matt Finish and has been part of the great band Australian Crawl.
This instrument had few bits replaced over the years but is now completely original again, with all genuine 1961 parts and had a refret a new unbleached bone nut installed.
The neck is absolutely sublime and one if not the best I have played.
The finish has been confirmed original by Harry himself which purchased the bass in the 80s and was already black and worn.
This is not your average Pre Cbs PBass but a real collector piece and the dream for any 70s Aussie rock lover.
Comes with Harry’s ownership proof.

The mahogany core is nice and dark and the trussrod moves freely left and right .
