Great condition for this 45 years old Rickenbacker 4001 Bass in very rare Burgunyglo finish. Low action, that thunderous tone only a ricky can achieve and a beautiful and very hard to find finish. This marvellous instrument is completely original beside one replaced tuner screw. The pickup cover is not currently in the bass but still there inside the original tolex hard case. This 4001 Ricky is from the very last period of production of this model, before they got discontinued and replaced by the 4003. it plays and soundsgreat, not heavy in weight and with just a little bit of genuine wear from nearly half a century of life on the road. Amazing collector piece and phenomenal player

In amazing condition, this discontinued USA made 2003 version of the Pbass looks and sounds amazing . Perhaps the most versatile bass ever offered from Fender.

This bass is extremely light and super comfortable .

It has a regular Precision pickup and a powerful Humbucker similar to a Musicman one in the bridge position as well. it is active with a three band eq. treble, bass and mid boost.

The bridge is cool and gives you the option of having your strings top mounted or through the body to add more resonance.

Bass is in remarkable condition with all the original case candy used the fender hard case and even the original plastic still onto the control plate.

PRCE DROPPED – 1977 GIBSON THUNDERBIRD BICENTENNIAL BASS IN SUNBURST FINISH WITH ORIGINAL CASE

Highlights:
Great condition for this rare Gibson US made 1977 Thunderbird Bass from the limited Bicentennial edition. These basses were only produced form 1976 to 1979 and less than 2000 were made, according to Gibson. This one is all original and its surprisingly light with a phenomenal sustain and such an incredible tone. The neck is slim and comfortable and action is nice and low. Frets are in good condition and everything works as it should. The original alnico pickup are just magic and the high output is quite amazing considering they are nearly 50 old. Strap pin has been moved and original screw hole professionally filled but that’s all. The original Black tolex hard case is in great nick too with all the original latches working as they should . One for collectors and players.

Not to be confused with the Asian Musicman Sterling sub brand , this is the original USA Sterling model and it’s based on the stingray, but with a thinner neck and more tonal options. Perfect, not one mark or scuff equipped with the sought after original Flea high mass bridge with mutes. Gorgeous Birdseye maple neck and the sunburst finish is just spot on. Comes with the rare short tolex case which was only available for the first few months of production of this American Musicman Ernie Ball model. A great bass, as a player or collector piece. Renowned for its slightly smaller body and neck profile, the Sterling 4 string bass boasts a big sound. Nine volt active 3 band EQ preamp, 3 position pickup selector switch, and a ceramic humbucker with hum canceling phantom coil come standard, equipping the Sterling to cut through any mix. The optional addition of a pickup in the neck position adds even more versatility to this innovative bass. Gorgeous and rare finish for this 47 years old Fender Precision Bass, all original and with a very comfortable weight, especially for a late 70s one.
Sitting at 4.3Kg, makes it a great gigging instrument.
The finish is called wine red as well as translucent red and only lasted for a couple of years before it got discontinued.
This bass is 100% original and has a beautiful deep and growly tone, as you would expect from a vintage Pbass.

1968 RICKENBACKER 4001 BASS IN FIREGLO FINISH WITH ORIGINAL HARD CASE

Highlights:

Absurdly rare, these 60s rickenbacker 4001 basses are some of the most sought after instruments on the planet , and for a good reason.

Completely unmolested and inside the original case, this bass is something else.

Crushed pearl inlays, checkerboard binding , toaster pickup, horseshoe pickup, mono jack input , bigger headstock , reversed kluson tuners.

All features only available through the 60s and discontinued the following decade when production ramped up.

Apparently only 83 fireglo 68 4001 were produced and this is a perfect example of the craftmanship and attention to details of those days.

Phenomenal tone, great weight and really nice neck profile.

The original case has seen better days and has been over sprayed but it’s still there and that’s all it matters.

1968 Fender Precision Bass in Rare Candy Apple Custom Finish With Original Hard Case

Absolutely stunning and very rare custom candy Apple Red finish for this 58 years old Fender Precision bass. Light and resonant , with a sublime neck profile and the perfect Pbass tone, this bass is just a work of art. Nitro finish, Brazilian Rosewood fretboard and black bobbins pickups ( all features from the early preCBS days, but 68 was a transition year at Fender and they used all the leftovers, making some of the best instruments ever made). Let’s not forget those gracious and rare Oval tuners aka Lollipop or Paddle, which were only available on the early 1968 Pbasses. Beside a new nut and a replaced screw on one of tuners, this instrument is completely original, with untouched solder joints, both covers still on and comes inside the original Stamford case. 1975 Fender Precision Bass in Original Natural finish With Fender Hard Case

Highlights:

Very nice and clean vintage Fender Precision Bass, especially considering this beauty is 49 years old. Made in 1975 in USA by Fender in factory natural finish with amazing tone and heaps of sustain. The body has the typical hairline checking of a a nearly 50 years old aged finish and the original white pickguard looks so pretty on it. Great condition on frets, fretboard, trussrod moving smooth left and right and the original pots and pickups are in perfect working condition. Capacitor replaced before I got it but pots and pickups untouched and all dated 1975. All the original hardware is in great nick as well. Really great bass, perfect for a collector or a player Comes with the original Fender Black Tolex case, thumb rest ,pickup and bridge covers as well.
